Java Applets

The Image below is an example of a Java Applet.
Notice how moving your mouse across the image interacts with the program.
Applets are actually mini-programs that are downloaded run "client-side"
by any computer equipped with a java or active X enabled browser.
Applets carry their own software players and can show text and image effects.
Many novice designers use applets for navigation--a serious mistake.

Requires a Java Enabled Browser.
