Posted: August 15, 2005 DALLAS, TX - Michael MacNaughton, owner of
TexasWebDevelopers (http://www.texaswebdevelopers.com/),
gave a two hour presentation on Web-Development and Marketing to a
delegation of 10 Small Business Development Professionals from
Novosibirsk, Russia at the request of the World Affairs Council of
Greater Dallas and the Community Connections program. Community
Connections is a professional training program for entrepreneurs,
professionals and government officials from Russia and other Newly
Independent States (NIS). The program is sponsored by the U.S.
Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
The objective of the program is to provide participants with
professional training and exposure to day-to-day functioning of a
free market system in the U.S. The Russian delegation consisted of
Boris Brusilovskiy, President, and Tatiana Bernadskaya, Deputy
Director, of the Novosibirsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
Alexander Lazarev, Director, Business Laboratory in Novosibirsk;
Andrey Muravev, Dean, Siberian Staffing Academy; Sergey Parshnikov,
Director, Regional Department of Small Business Development; Elena
Pilipenko, Director, Regional Small Business Support Fund; Liubov
Prokaeva, President, Business Women of New Century; Olga Valieva,
Director, Mayor's Office (Science Department); Irina Vyalikh,
Director, Women's Business Center; and Marina Zyryanova, Director,
AS Personnel Agency. During the presentation Michael presented each
member of the delegation with a complimentary USB Thumb Drive with a
copy of the presentation and, in turn, Michael was honored to accept
a DVD of images and music of Novosibirsk along with a laser carved
